The hand of the fabric is as important as the color and pattern: How the fabric feels to human touch determines the pleasure in its use. Nomadic fabrics welcome and reward touch as well as sight.
Substantial and supple, warm and cheerful, this reversible fabric has a different and distinct look on each side. Broad color bands on one side are replaced with fine lines of color on the other. The wool is woven between the two outer cotton layers, yet never surfaces on either side. Instead the wool becomes the felted batting, causing unique, differential shrinkage while providing insulation and warmth.
